The biggest challenges are motivation with my students. I deal with this through individual rewards and consequences. It's ok to differentiate this between students. Getting parents involved is always a plus.

Does anyone else subscribe to the ASCD magazine for Educational Leadership? I highly recommend that every teacher reads it. They always cover hot topics, and when I read this magazine I get great ideas! Does anyone else have resources they use often for lesson inspiration?

Visitors from Pulaski High School

Amy Deprey and her colleagues from Pulaski High School visited our CyberEnglish9 classes today. They are interested in a cyber approach for their juniors to begin with. It was a lot of fun to show them around. A visit like this helps me remember that what we're doing is still not ordinary. Plus, it's fun to talk to teachers about teaching.
