ASCD magazine

Amy, do you have any back issues you would be willing to share? I would love to borrow them. I haven't gotten on here since our visit to Dawn's Cyber English; it seems like the last two weeks just flew by with so much to do before our break. Dawn, I did want to thank you for sharing your class with us. It was a wonderful visit and really exciting to see what is going on in other schools. We are well on our way to developing our new curriculum and looking forward to blazing new trails our own.

Useful resource

Does anyone else subscribe to the ASCD magazine for Educational Leadership? I highly recommend that every teacher reads it. They always cover hot topics, and when I read this magazine I get great ideas! Does anyone else have resources they use often for lesson inspiration?

Visitors from Pulaski High School

Amy Deprey and her colleagues from Pulaski High School visited our CyberEnglish9 classes today. They are interested in a cyber approach for their juniors to begin with. It was a lot of fun to show them around. A visit like this helps me remember that what we're doing is still not ordinary. Plus, it's fun to talk to teachers about teaching.
